Basic Cooking Instructions
If necessary, sauté couscous in 1 tablespoon butter or oil for 3 to 5 minutes over medium heat before cooking. Bring 1.5 cups water to a boil. Add 1 cup pearl couscous and ½ teaspoon salt. Return to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain any remaining water. Makes 3 servings.
