PIECETOP

1. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 3/4 cups water to a boil. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil.
2. Stir in the rice noodles and the entire contents of the spice packet. Return to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.
4. Mix well and serve immediately.

Microwave

1. In a microwave-safe dish, combine 1 3/4 cups water, rice-shaped pasta, and entire contents of packet. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil. Do not cover.
2. Cook on high for 15-18 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed.
3. Set aside for 5 minutes.
4. Fluff with a fork before serving.
