1. Prepare a bag of the appropriate size and soak it in castor oil. (The oil can be heated or used with a warmer or hot water bottle. Do not apply heat in case of infection or suspected fever.)
2. Place the bag over the affected area and cover with plastic wrap and a warmer if necessary. You can also use a towel to protect the bedding.
3. Leave the bag for an hour or more. (Note: Avoid falling asleep with the warmer on.)
4. After removing the bag, clean the skin with a solution of baking soda and water (1 teaspoon per pint) or use Castor Clean™ or Castor Clean™ Towelettes.
5. Store in a bag or other container in a cool, dry place.
6. Use the bag daily or regularly (e.g. 2-3 days in a row per week) until you achieve the desired results.

Other:

1. Wrap the bag loosely around your body with elastic band to keep it in place.
2. You can use the bag to apply other herbal poultices and wraps such as grape, dandelion, vinegar and salt, Alka-Thyme and Epsom salts.
3. Practice meditation, prayer, reading inspirational material, or thinking positive thoughts while using your bag.
